I have always loved to travel and experience different cultures. I have been blessed to visit Nicaragua. While in Nicaragua, I fell in love with the taste of their Nicaraguan coffee. I recognized from the first taste that there was something different about this coffee, it was so much different than the coffee that I was drinking at home on a daily basis. The Nicaraguan coffee was so smooth, rich and didn't give you any type of jittery feeling. I started to talk to the natives and explore their coffee plantations. I was then able to talk to the owners, see the coffee beans being harvested, picked, and packaged. So, I knew firsthand that the coffee was fresh, organic and no chemicals were being used to affect the natural flavor. I brought some home with me. Family and friends tasted the coffee and agreed that this coffee was different in taste. While I was back home, I continued to research and obtain coffee from Nicaragua. I had been thinking of starting a business. I decided why not start a business with something that I enjoyed. So I went back to Nicaragua to find out if I could make contact with some of the coffee bean farms. Once there I traveled by horse back to the farms in Estile and Jalapa Nicaragua where I was able to make connections. This resulted in me being able to form a business relationship to start my business. I knew that by my travels to these farms, I was able to guarantee firsthand knowledge that this coffee was natural, organic and rich in flavor. The Real Black Goat guarantees it's a taste of coffee that many haven't experienced but will be glad they have once they have.
Magic Mountain Coffee is produced in the mountains of Nicaragua at 1300 meters above sea level. It is strictly high grown coffee, meaning that the coffee was grown at high altitudes, which allows the bean to develop slower, resulting in denser and more high quality beans. Our coffee is one of the finest in the world with a unique and natural taste. It is bold yet smooth, relatively low acidity and consistent. What makes it so special is its geographical location, the climate and soil that it is grown in. The soil is one of the richest soils in the world. If you're looking for a coffee that will make your palate explode for its flavor, then our coffee is the one you are looking for. Its sweetness is subtle and the strength of it is controlled. Nicaraguan coffee has developed a reputation for great quality coffee out of the mountains of Jalapa, Esteli and Matagalpa.

So there is lots of talk about White Coffee? What is white coffee and what makes it unique? White Coffee is generally a lighter brown color than most dark roasted coffees, but it is not actually white in color. The one major thing that sets white coffee apart is that it is lightly roasted and it quite difficult to achieve. For those who have tried it typically describe it as having nutty, almost grass-like flavor, which adequately describes the first early stages of coffee roasting. The flavor can be very distinctive and strong. White coffee is less acidic as compared to regular coffee which is apt for those who suffer from acidity after drinking regular coffee. This is so because the more coffee beans are roasted, the more acidic they become. Since white coffee beans are minimally roasted, they have lesser acidic content. White coffee roasts lead to more of single-origin flavors showing through a brew, as opposed to darker roasts which give coffee it's traditional flavor. White coffee has more caffeine by volume as coffee beans lose their caffeine by volume as it is roasted.
Are there health benefits to drinking White Coffee has many have claimed? White coffee is roasted to a much lower temperature, so it does hold onto the Chlorogenic acid, which is known to be a powerful antioxidant. Chlorogenic acid has been known to reduce the risk of diabetes, reduce blood pressure, and stimulate weight loss. During the roasting process, many of the healthy anti-oxidants and acids that give coffee its health benefits are burnt off - the longer (and darker) a coffee is roasted, the fewer there are. White coffee's very light roast therefore retains more of the plant-based chemicals that provide health benefits. Thus it is a reasonable assumption that white coffee is better for you than other roasts. At this time not enough research has been completed.
